Intro

As cold waters to a thirsty soul, so is good news from a far country.
(Proverbs 25:25)

Cold water is often the only thing that satisfies the dryness of our thirsty throat. But what can satisfy the spiritual dryness of our thirsty soul?

Thirsty Souls ache with desire for spiritual refreshment! We are weary with thirst for something to renew us deep within our spirit — something to refresh us with genuine love, acceptance, and peace.

If you are a Thirsty Soul then you have a deep sense of spiritual need. You are searching desperately for love, for truth, and the fulfillment that will satisfy the void within your heart. You search and search, and yet, you continue to remain restless and discontent.

There are lots of things we can do to try and satisfy our thirsty soul. Unfortunately, the majority of these things are not only un-fulfilling, but they also prove to be very harmful!

Finding true and lasting satisfaction begins with our decision to be completely honest with ourselves, and to recognize that our human reasonings and solutions are not enough.

If you are searching and are truly desperate for truth, yearning for true spiritual refreshment for your thirsty soul, then your only satisfaction will be to drink from the Fountain of Living Waters — that is, to begin studying God’s Word [the Holy Bible] for yourself!

And may it be that you, Thirsty Soul, will find the true and ever-lasting source of the Fountain of Living Waters — Yahushua Messiah [the Hebrew name for Jesus Christ].

  • In the last day, that great day of the feast, Yahushua [Jesus] stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him COME UNTO ME, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the Scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. (John 7:37,38)
  • For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes. (Revelation 7:17)
  • And He [Yahushua] said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is thirsty of the fountain of the water of life freely. (Revelation 21:6)
  • My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. (Psalms 42:1-2)

Boundaries:
Boundaries are like the lines running down the middle of the highway. Staying on our side of the boundary line keeps us safe, and keeps us alive. Wandering across the boundary line can lead to collision and destruction. God has given His Word [the Bible], which clearly outlines His boundaries, given to us for our benefit! Let us be thankful for the restraint and the protection of God’s boundaries. They may well be the one thing that protects us from destruction!
