The Bridegroom’s Love

My beloved Bridegroom speaks to me and says:

Arise, my Love, my Beautiful One, and come away.
How beautiful is your love to me, my Bride!
How much better is your love than wine!
You have captivated my heart, my Bride;
you have captivated my heart with one glance of your eyes.
You are beautiful. Your gentle, quiet spirit is precious to me.
You are my Darling, my Dove, my Love.
Let me hear your sweet voice.”

Oh how excellent is the lovingkindness of my Saviour, my Beloved. my Bridegroom!
I have come to know and believe the love that Yahushua has for me.
His love for me is extravagant, radical, unending.
His love for me is altogether lovely!

I love Him,
because He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life,
because He laid down His life for me,
because He forgives my sins,
because He hears my voice,
because He is so merciful,
because He helps me,
because He delights in me,
because He first loved me.

He is my dearly Beloved, and I am His.
I am in love with Him and He is in love with me.

Yahushua Messiah [Jesus Christ],
the Resurrection and the Life,
the Lover of Souls, the Giver of Mercy,
the Revealer of Truth, the Forgiver of Sins,
the Self-less Lover of all who come to Him,
the Healer of Sickness, the Helper to the Helpless,
the Restorer of the Broken, the Usher into Eternal Life,
the Bridegroom . . . who rejoices over His Bride —
His Bride, who is arrayed in fine linen, clean and white,
having the glory of God upon her.

Boundaries are like the lines running down the middle of the highway. Staying on our side of the boundary line keeps us safe, and keeps us alive. Wandering across the boundary line can lead to collision and destruction. God has given His Word [the Bible], which clearly outlines His boundaries, given to us for our benefit! Let us be thankful for the restraint and the protection of God’s boundaries. They may well be the one thing that protects us from destruction!
