I tried to understand, to think the problem through, to come to an understanding — a resolution.
But it was too difficult, too painful for me.
I was troubled, distressed, questioning my direction. Day and night, I was agitated, restless, fearful.
Then I remembered to pray.
I went to Him. I humbled myself. I bowed before Him. I prayed to Yahuwah Elohim [the LORD God].
THEN, I began to calm down.
I waited. I sought His instruction.
I searched in His Word.
I cried to Him for His wisdom.
I said “Show me Your ways.”
THEN, I began to receive His comfort.
Slowly, He began to rebuild my trust in Him. He began to reveal His way to me.
I was pricked in my heart, when God’s Light came in and gave me understanding.
I was sorrowful. Yet I knew Yahuwah, the God of truth. He is always right! So I repented.
I returned to doing His Word. I held tightly to His guidance. He restored me. He instructed me.
I remembered my loved ones. I lifted up those who were hurting. I prayed for His blessing on others. I cried out for others who need God’s direction.
I was refreshed. Father lifted my heart in praise to Him.
I will go in the strength of Yahuwah, fulfilling His will, speaking His love and truth, accomplishing His purposes for me.
I love You, Yahuwah, because You inclined Your ear unto me. (1)
Yahushua Messiah [Jesus Christ] said:
“When you pray, go to your room, close the door,
and pray to your Father, Who is unseen.
And your Father, Who sees what you do in private, will reward you.
All things, whatsoever you shall ask in prayer (in My Name) —
believing — you shall receive.”
Matthew 6:6; 21:22; John 14:13
More things are accomplished by prayer
than this world ever imagines!
Let us never forget that . . .
the greatest thing we can do for God or for man, is to pray!
For we can accomplish far more by our prayers than by our work!
— Leonard Ravenhill
Time spent in prayer is never wasted!
— François Fenelon
If you desire to pray effectively, you must pray a great deal!
