I tried to understand, to think the problem through, to come to an understanding — a resolution.
But it was too difficult, too painful for me.
I was troubled, distressed, questioning my direction. I was agitated, restless, fearful.
Then I remembered . . . I can pray.
I went to Father God. I humbled myself. I bowed before Him. I prayed to Yahuwah Elohim [the Hebrew name for the LORD God].
I spoke only a few words to Father. I said, “Help me Father! Help me!” I felt feeble, weak and little.
I waited. I continued to seek His instruction.
I continued crying out to Him for His wisdom, crying for a trusting heart.
I searched in His Word.
I said “Show me Your ways. Give me a believing heart! Intervene on my behalf. Help me!”
I was pricked in my heart, as His Light/His Word gave me understanding.
I was sorrowful. I knew Yahuwah, the God of truth — He is always right! I repented of my hard-heart, asking for forgiveness.
I purposed to return to doing His Word. I determined to hold tightly to His guidance.
Father began to restore me. His Word comforted me. He instructed me.
Then, a calm-ness came. My heart rested in His promises, His goodness, His love for me.
Slowly, God began to rebuild my trust in Him. He began to reveal His way to me.
I waited patiently, continuing to ask Him for patience to wait for His direction.
I yearned to be like Daniel, who was of an excellent spirit, and to be full of hope for the goodness of Yah.
By Father’s mercy, I will go in the strength of Yahuwah, fulfilling His will, speaking His truth, trusting His purposes for me.
I love You, Yahuwah, because You inclined Your ear unto me. (1)
Yahushua Messiah [Jesus Christ] said:
“When you pray, go to your room, close the door,
and pray to your Father, Who is unseen.
And your Father, Who sees what you do in private, will reward you.
All things, whatsoever you shall ask in prayer (in My Name) —
believing — you shall receive.”
Matthew 6:6; 21:22; John 14:13
More things are accomplished by prayer
than this world ever imagines!
Let us never forget . . .
the greatest thing we can do for God or for man, is to pray!
For we can accomplish far more by our prayers than by our work!
— Leonard Ravenhill
Time spent in prayer is never wasted!
— François Fenelon
If you desire to pray effectively, you must pray a great deal!
