Good, clean living has great rewards!
Truly God is good to Israel, even to such as are of a clean heart! (Psalms 73:1)
Good, clean living pays off because Yahuwah [the Hebrew name for the LORD] will be good to those who are of a clean heart. A clean heart means you are attempting to live before God with a good, clean, and honest conscience!
Yahuwah gives His children good things in abundance! Every good thing we have is from Him! (Matthew 7:11 and James 1:17) The goodness of Yahuwah for those who seek to live before Him with a clean heart is a blessing that brings enrichment to our lives! His blessings have no sorrow in them (Proverbs 10:22)!
And what amazing goodness He offers — no good thing will He withhold from them that walk uprightly!! (Psalms 84:11b)
Whoever offeres praise glorifies me [Yahuwah]: and to him that orders his conversation (his way, his behaviour) aright, I will show the salvation of God. (Psalms 50:23)
Good, clean living pays off because Yahuwah’s salvation and rescue is revealed to those who seek to order their way ‘aright’ — that is, seek to live a life properly, honestly, and according to the purity of God’s Word!
Such children of Yah are grateful, and they express thankfulness to Yahuwah for His salvation! They know and understand the saving, refreshing mercies of the Mighty One of Israel. His mercies are like a rich and flourishing tree planted by the rivers of water (Psalms 1:1-6).
The righteous also shall hold to his way, and he that has clean hands shall be stronger and stronger. (Job 17:9)
Good, clean living pays off because Yahuwah will give His strength to those who are holding on to a good, clean life — those who are seeking to be in right-standing with Yahuwah!
Yah’s gracious strength is given to those who hold firmly to their faith and integrity before God. When we cling to the good and right ways as revealed in the Word of Yahuwah [Bible], then we will know the grace of Father’s inner strength within us. He will give us the ability we need, to go from strength to strength (Psalms 84:5-7).
But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asks you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear: Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation (behaviour) in Christ. (1Peter 3:15,16)
Good, clean living pays off because those who keep their conscience good and clean have the reward of a hope-FULL, joyful heart!
A good conscience enables us to live a life that keeps us sensitive and receptive to the comforting peace of God in Messiah Yahushua [the Hebrew name for Christ Jesus]. When we seek to live a life that is set-apart unto the heavenly Father, then He gives us the endurance to withstand the pressures of opposition. Thus we will know the blessings of Yahuwah’s protection and favour, and His delight (Psalms 5:11,12; Proverbs 11:20b).
Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. (Hebrews 10:22)
Good, clean living pays off because those who live before God by maintaining a good, clean, and honest life, have the reward of confidently approaching Yahuwah, trusting in Him and in His mercy, and not in themselves.
Such dear children of Yahuwah know the reward of His fellowship, and the cleansing power of the precious blood of Yahushua Messiah sprinkled upon their sins. They seek to maintain their fellowship with God by confessing their sins and keeping a right spirit before the Father (1John 1:3-10). Therefore they have confidence to approach Father any time they are in need of His mercy and grace (Hebrews 4:16).
